John Muir, New Tower Addition

The addition of the Hofmann Family Patient Care Tower at John Muir Medical Center capped a three-year, $212 million project to bring more of the latest technology for optimal, patient-focused care. Highlights of the medical center expansion include 120 new private rooms, a new Cardiovascular Institute and a new Emergency Department. The Cardiovascular Institute brought the majority of John Muir Health’s cardiovascular services all into one place and added five cardiac catheterization labs. Equipping staff at Hoffman Family Patient Care Tower with the latest, highest quality resources will allow for more patients to stay closer to home for their care.
