Overview

The project was unique in that it housed a Rain Forest, Coral Reef and Planetarium under one green roof. One of the challenges faced by KHS&S was framing and plastering the curved walls on the interior of the Planetarium. The framing was suspended by isolators and the studs and tracks were curved to fit the 30 degree tilt of the dome. Another existing GFRG ceiling panels from the African Hall and creating molds for new panels.
