Overview

The $800 million resort and casino, tailored to Northern California’s wine country, opened in early November with 3,000 slot machines, 144 gaming tables and 13 restaurants.

KHS&S completed the interior and exteriors of the main casino building, the interior and exterior of the water treatment facility and the exteriors of the central plant. Most of their interior scope included high-end faux finishes and wallcoverings.

KHS&S’ Las Vegas, Anaheim and Concord offices teamed to craft and install the features, including a 40-foot-long fire feature in the steakhouse, serpentine cloud ceiling throughout the main casino floor, diamond cast elements at the entry façade of the event center and gold and silver leaf finishes in the soffits in the high-limit gaming area.

On the casino exterior, craftsmen installed walnut wood plank faux finishes and metallic finishes. The casino was constructed in about a year, creating a compressed schedule for all the trades.
