With the help of KHS&S, a Sioux City building once home to a battery factory and a clothing warehouse was transformed into a new entertainment center for northwest Iowa. The $126 million project restored the historic Battery Building and brought the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City to life with a complete casino floor, 54-room hotel, and outdoor entertainment venue. The results showed quickly for the facility. A year after opening its doors in 2014, Hard Rock Sioux City welcomed more than two million visitors, held more than 200 shows, and paid out more than $13.3 million in jackpots.
