The Pendry Hotel

The Pendry Hotel is the latest  addition to San Diego’s famous Gaslamp District. The Hotel takes classic Southern California influence and combines it with modern luxury amenities to create an awe-inspiring experience. The 15-level hotel is not only an establishment for lodging, but also brings entertainment to the forefront with a combination of restaurants, bars, and retail space.

Upon entering the building, it’s easy to see KHS&S’s mark throughout the Pendry. The team installed metal stud framing, sheathing, and EIFS on the first four levels with EIFS outsulation panels up to the thirteenth floor. KHS&S’s influence extends to the rooftop where the crew directly applied finish systems at the pool bar and lounge area. In addition, the team provided a water resistive barrier, lath and scratch coat at all brick veneer areas.

KHS&S has developed a strong reputation for utilizing prefabricated EIFS panels to maximize onsite efficiency and this job was no exception. Transferring the panels from our Lake Elsinore Panel Yard, the team was able to reduce jobsite congestion and expedite panel installation for enclosing.
