Overview
KHS&S recently completed the Expansion of Yakama Nation Legends Casino in Toppenish, Washington. The 183,000 square foot expansion included a six-story, 200-room hotel and conference center, a 5,000-square-foot spa and an expansion of the casino’s gaming floor by more than 50,000 square feet.
KHS&S’ work at Yakama Nation Legends Casino in Washington is the result of years of partnering with the area tribes and general contractor Swinerton Builders. Achieving a history of repeat business of this magnitude requires that KHS&S work with the local native community to ensure the relationship continues by going above and beyond the ordinary. It was the work and collaboration on the Yakama Nation Legends Casino which led to being awarded the interiors for the Cowlitz Casino.
“We understand that we’re only as good as our last project, so each job has to stand on its own merit to compete and win the next,” said Jeff Castagnola, area operations manager, Seattle office.
KHS&S completed the exterior sheathing plus the interior drywall and framing. There was 1.3 million square feet of drywall and 75,000 square feet of exterior sheathing.
